Michelle Rodriguez was spotted filming action-packed fight scenes for the upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons in Northern Ireland. The actress, who hasn’t disclosed her character yet, donned a bronze armored vest to portray her fighter role. She opted for braids that cascaded over her shoulders and went makeup-free to showcase her natural beauty. In between takes, Michelle was seen yelling in fury as she defended herself with a sword against a monster. A crew member, wearing a mask, made some adjustments to her outfit during a break from filming before she resumed shooting.
Metamorphosis occurred as Michelle, whose identity remains a mystery, underwent a radical change by donning a protective bronze vest to become a fearless fighter.
During filming, the Fast and Furious star was caught on camera unleashing her fury as she battled a ferocious beast with her trusty sword in hand. The upcoming movie will be helmed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, with Hasbro/eOne and Paramount footing the bill. Dungeons & Dragons, the inspiration behind the film, is a classic tabletop role-playing game that was originally created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson back in 1974. The game was initially published by Tactical Studies Rules, Inc. and is now owned and operated by Wizards of the Coast. This particular adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons has been in development for quite some time, with Rob Letterman originally set to direct and Ansel Elgort previously attached to the project.
Michelle was accompanied by Justice Smith and Chris Pine, but their roles have yet to be revealed.
Michelle opted for a natural look, showcasing her raven tresses styled into braids cascading down her shoulders without any makeup. According to Variety, the Dungeons and Dragons film rights ownership dispute between Sweetpea Entertainment and Hasbro came to an end with the movie being transferred to Paramount. The film was initially directed by Chris McKay before he abandoned the project, with Goldstein and Daley stepping in to take over in 2019. The specifics of the plot for the new adaptation remain a mystery. It is worth noting that the first attempt at bringing the game to the big screen in 2000, featuring Thora Birch, Kristen Wilson, Justin Whalin, Marlon Wayans, and Jeremy Irons, did not fare well in theaters.
During the scene, a number of crew members and extras joined them on set.
